Rachael L. McIntosh remains one of the few authors who can combine expert fiction writing with an insider’s understanding of the geopolitical world that is today ensnarling us. The Peanut Butter Pipeline, the fourth of her Security Through Absurdity novels, takes us into the real world of sinister intel services and technocracy, everything from 9/11 and globalism to nanobots and high-tech weaponry. Yet there is no shortage of the action and villains that underpin any great thriller. As usual, Rachael’s writing transports the reader right into the story through her compelling use of vivid imagery. And as with her previous novels, I’d love to see this one made into a movie!

Hi Rachael, I’m the person who showed you the photo I took (in 1970) of my USMC squadron’s Reconnaissance version of the F-4 Phantom.

I love your book, The Peanut Butter Pipeline, which I have just finished! You have a remarkably fertile imagination, and your descriptions are so detailed and so accurate, obviously based on some actual experience, that I was indeed seduced by the fascinating tale! I also loved your aesthetic touch: both directly in speaking about the paintings, the clothing, and other things, but also in the more general sense of manifesting a broad ‘good taste’. I always felt that I as a reader was in good hands (even when things got a bit violent). As someone who studied and practiced art, your visual artistry has morphed into word artistry. I would add that you not only bring a sophisticated intelligence to the genre, you also maintain a humane perspective…you care about your characters, and that is a measure of you yourself, ie, your innate goodness.

As a former Vietnam era aviator, I loved the aircraft references (Maule bush plane, Skunk Works/Kelly Johnson/SR-71, etc). And, again, the details (eg, getting under the wing to get shade from the heat). And, oh, the account of Jerry with the Ramjet is one of the all-time great aviation/aerospace scenes in American literature!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read

So much truth is packed in this one piece of fiction. Jocelyn’s adventures are chocked full of intrigue and Rachael McIntosh handles dark issues with skill and brings in some whimsy. I’m gonna need a bigger notebook to keep up with the digs I’ve gleaned from this light bearer! Thank you, Rachael.

5.0 out of 5 stars great series of books!

If you want to get an insider's view of big government and how we are all manipulated and lied to, I highly recommend this series of books. Written as "fiction", they will give you a lot to think about when you consider that the "fiction" is based on the author's personal experiences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, Engaging, Timely

I read this book over 3 nights. I could not put it down except to force myself to sleep for work the next day. McIntosh has an incredible talent for detail, but still keeps things moving in her most action-packed book so far. Incredibly timely and timeless at the same time. The Peanut Butter Pipeline makes you Google things later after reading. And those things will blow your mind. This is...

5.0 out of 5 stars A masterpiece of suspense and perception.

Only an author with artistic talent, experience and the uncanny ability to perform extraordinary research could write a "novel" this remarkable. This author did exactly that. Turning each page was like sitting in a front row seat watching the premier of a topnotch thriller movie, colorful, true to life, and visually presenting the characters and scenes with panoramic brilliance. I've read all...

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool book

Great book! love the characters. It’s got a lot of chapters so reading it’s been a lot like binge watching a Netflix series. Can’t wait to get to the end.
