Welcome to the launch of my new Vlog STRANGER THAN GOOD FICTION! In each short episode I’ll answer a fan’s question about the Security Through Absurdity series which currently includes Book One: Little Yellow Stickies; Book Two: Bubbles Will Pop; and Book Three: The Big Show.
Episodes will be rolling out to you about once a week. Because this first episode is especially short, I’ll post another one later this week as a BONUS!
If you have read the Security Through Absurdity series and would like to ask me a direct question about the books, please send your question over to me! I’d love to hear from you and I’ll attempt to answer you via this vlog. I check the comments section at YouTube and over at Amazon and GoodReads. Of course, I keep tabs on FaceBook and Twitter @EntropyPress, and you can email me at my website, or just leave a comment here. In other words, I’m right where you are!
If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading the books and you somehow stumbled upon this vlog, you really need to at least check them out. The series follows the exploits of the main character Jocelyn McLaren, a young artist who through a bizarre twist of fate ends up working at a defense contractor during 9/11 and the Iraq war. That experience kicks off a litany of revelatory situations for Jocelyn (many of which you might recognize).
I wrote the books for GenX but it appears Millenials are eating this series up because they are very curious about 9/11 and how the US got to be as it is today – PLUS the series is quite entertaining. The closest genre the books might fall into would be “Recent Historical Fiction” or “Contemporary New Journalism“. All of these books are currently in the Rhode Island and Connecticut public school libraries and on Summer Reading Lists even though I’m pretty sure GenX is groovin’ to these books too. (At least I hope so!) https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/36290.New_Series_2014_

I hope you like this new approach I’m taking with answering your questions. I’m really enjoying doing this!
I’ll see you soon,
